Please visit the Application and Eligibility page to see the full list of eligibility requirements. For any questions please contact us

What is defined as having no international experience?

Students who have never traveled outside of the United States in any capacity qualify for the VIH Program. If you have been abroad before, studied abroad, or have traveled before coming to college you do not qualify for the VIH program.

Do I have to do a Summer Global Experience program?

Yes. We understand that it can be difficult to participate in a global experience during the academic year and we want to provide an all-encompassing experience that prepares students to be leaders both globally and locally. A summer global experience allows students to participate in a Spring Pre-Departure Conference and a Fall Re-Entry Leadership Conference, Community Engagement Experience, and develop global leadership skills.
