Caley Glisan, originally from West Newton, Pennsylvania, now resides in Akron, Colorado with her husband, James, and Great Pyrenees puppy, Sugar. Caley attended Waynesburg University, graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching and Learning with a K-12 Math Specialization from Colorado State University - Global Campus.
Caley was part of the 2014 Vira I. Heinz Cohort, where she went to India and Sri Lanka to teach. Currently, Caley is teaching 7/8th grade math in the Yuma School District. When she isn’t teaching, Caley loves hiking, biking, reading, and traveling.
