Washington & Jefferson College

Michaela Wetcholowsky is Washington & Jefferson College’s Campus Coordinator. Michaela, an alumna of W&J, first fell in love with other cultures and languages in her high school German class when she was awarded a summer study abroad trip through the American Association of Teachers of German. After returning home, Michaela knew that she had caught the travel bug! In fact, she chose W&J because of the many opportunities to study abroad. As a W&J student, Michaela studied abroad at the University of Vienna and upon graduation, she completed an English Teaching Assistantship through Fulbright Austria in Innsbruck, Austria. It is one of Michaela’s professional goals to facilitate student experiences just as great as (if not better than!) her own abroad experiences as a W&J student.

Michaela holds a B.A. in International Studies and German from Washington & Jefferson College as well as an M.A. in German from the University of Kentucky. As your campus coordinator, Michaela will work closely with you to find a program that fits your personal and academic goals. She cannot wait to help you make study abroad a part of your undergraduate career!
