International Experience Summary:

Katrina Harrison is an alumna of the 2014 Cohort and graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in Political Science. The VIH Program afforded Katrina the opportunity to study abroad for 10 weeks in Bangalore, India where she studied religion and socioeconomic and political in India and South Asia. Upon her return, Katrina and her CEE team hosted an event entitled “It Never Happens Here”, a program geared toward defining and identifying instances of sexual violence using a series of skits that depicted personal experiences of the CEE team occurring both abroad and in Philadelphia. After graduating in December of 2014, Katrina spent nearly two years a Project Manager for a translation company based in Easton, PA. Katrina is now a second year law student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and is concentrating her legal education on International and Comparative Law. When she is not studying, Katrina does freelance work reviewing translated documents for her former employer, and the rest of her free time is spent planning her next international experience. Katrina is honored to serve the VIH Program as the Graduate Intern for the 2018-2019 Academic Year, and is thrilled to work with the 2018 and 2019 cohorts.
