International Experience Summary:

Theresa Short spent four weeks in the gorgeous south east coastal city of Nice, France along the Mediterranean Sea. During her stay, Theresa took several rigorous business courses at IPAG Business School through a study abroad program under the auspices of the College Consortium for International Studies. Through her classes, Theresa was able to tour several historical and modern buildings such as the Matisse Museum, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, and the Grimaldi Forum Conference Center of Monaco, which allowed her to learn a great deal about the French culture. It did not take Theresa long to immerse herself into the culture and customs of Europe. On the weekends, she spent much of her time traveling to the beach, tasting French delicacies, and just enjoying the nightlife with the locals to experience life as a true Frenchwoman. Theresa’s first trip outside of the United States turned out to be one of the biggest accomplishments of her life. Over the course of four weeks, Theresa had the opportunity to make friends with her roommate and travel with her to other European countries including Italy, Germany, and Monaco. She still keeps in contact with her roommate as well as some of her professors from the school. Most importantly, Theresa feels as though she can use all of the knowledge and much of those experiences that she gained abroad not only toward her business classes back at Lincoln University, but also in her career as a young entrepreneur.
