Bio:
Megan Hepler is from a small, rural town called West Sunbury in Pennsylvania. Since she was very young, Megan has always found herself involved in her community, whether that’s involvement in school, sports or extra curricular activities.  Megan’s love for sports, more specifically softball, has had her on her toes since she was in grade school. Her commitment to softball has opened opportunities for her to excel equally in academia. Megan pushes herself to be the best that she can be, reaching new heights and trying new things. She is a junior at Thiel College in Greenville, PA.  Meg is a double major in Media Journalism and Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising. She chose her major because she has always had an interest in the media world and the impact it can have on people. Additionally, she had a high school media teacher that took great interest in her advancement. She applied for the VIH scholarship because she wants to expand her leadership skills and broaden her knowledge of the world. She plans to study in Dublin Ireland, interning with a small Dublin company and taking several Irish culture classes. She feels that Ireland is great place to study because it has vast cultural history and has many great opportunities to see the difference between American and Irish culture within marketing and media.
