Margaret Williams

My study abroad experience was in Seville, Spain. I selected Spain because I wanted to continue my studies in flamenco guitar and dance. My study abroad complemented the arts and culture area of the Heinz Endowment. My experience will complement my academic program at Duquesne because I learned flamenco techniques that influence my approach to the classical repertoire, as well as benefit my continued study of flamenco guitar. This experience will serve as a springboard for future leadership opportunities because I will hopefully be teaching a flamenco dance class at Duquesne, exposing other students to this beautiful art form.
