Katherine Pitner

I studied abroad in San Jose, Costa Rica. While I was abroad I took a Spanish class at Universidad Veritas. I also stayed with a host family. I learned a vast amount of information about the Spanish language and culture while staying with a host family. I was able to take a trip every weekend to a different part of Costa Rica. On these trips I learned about the unique wildlife and plant life that Costa Rica possesses. I also had the opportunity to spend a weekend in Panama and get a different perspective on the Spanish culture.
