International Experience Summary:

My time in the Czech Republic revolved mostly around learning about historical events and getting the chance to see where those events took place.  Oftentimes our classes would take field trips to points of interest around the city of Prague that directly related to our lecture topics.  The city offered so many cultural experiences that it was sometimes difficult to choose between attending an opera or a rock and roll concert in the park.  Perhaps my favorite thing about Prague was that no matter where you went you were never more than a mile away from a historically important landmark.

I also had numerous chances to explore outside the city limits as we visited small towns in the Bohemian countryside. This may have been my favorite part of the entire trip since I could not help but notice how much the Czech countryside looked like my hometown.  My program allowed me to really experience the Czech way of life through various aspects of culture that I discovered during my time there.
