Betty Kromah (she/her) is a current sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh's Main Campus. She was born and raised in Prince George's County, Maryland. She decided to take a leap into the city of Pittsburgh to pursue a bachelor’s degree in social work. She hopes to become an advocate for underrepresented youth and bridge the gaps between their access to a proper education. With the VIH program experience, Betty hopes to expand her global leadership network, and broaden her experience in service work. On campus, her involvements include being a Resident Assistant and a Peer Facilitator for the Panther Leadership Academy. Outside of campus, her hobbies include drawing, painting, and exploring different parts of Pittsburgh
